Hi how can a make 4 inch rhinestones stone template it gets smaller holes for the rhinestones when I make it in sure cuts a lot and design space How do I fix this

I have only just come across your video and would just like to say you was absolutely perfect 👌🏻.. small things happened which actually happens to each of us at one time or another and it just means you are human and did not edit to take the little annoying pieces out so thank you for that… other people would edit all them little pieces out and make it look like they don’t make any mistakes which is annoying because it makes the likes of me feel inadequate, Thank you for the brilliant tutorial, everything about it was just right, your voice, volume, lighting and your explanations were all just perfect 😊

I sandblast for my etching but I have never done colored glass and I want to and I want to color my etchings at least once

Would love to have seen how you added the infusible ink to the mat. Did you use the Cricut pens or do they make bottles of ink you can drip on? Love the rainbow ombre like appearance. Then Oh My Gosh it prints so much richer. Thanks for your video and show and tell.

I've got to search through my storage for glass ware. Oh did you ever try the hints about warming up the etching cream to melt or disolve the crystals? I've got some older cream never opened and bet it's developed crystals for sure and it'll be a good trial to see if that works and how much heat. I'm thinking of starting with a hot water bath in a deep pan tap water hot and let the bottle of etching sit in it for a while then check on it and if that doesn't work warm water in a pan to a bit higher heat and process again. I am curious of it works though. Your etches always come out so perfect.

Just ordered a Joy after years of ignoring them. I had an Inspiration via 2009 and it was a big let down for what I had hoped it could do. So I've been a little holding back to jump into the world of digital cutting machines and the Joy I felt I should put the money towards another big machine if I ever decided to go that way. Meantime a neighbor got one for her BD but asked me for help. I found several good start up Videos here on UA-cam to share with her. Seems to help. Meantime the more I seem to be doing other things that dang JOY keeps popping up more and more. I finally caved and ordered one. So now I'm off and running. I have lovely clear glass mugs but 16 and even 20 ounce mugs I run in the microwave to make tea and will wonder if I etched them is it safe to microwave. Not so much is the mug safe because the ones I'm using are but will the etching hold up over time in the microwave? Will it yellow perhaps or fade out or ? Not sure it would do anything odd but I thought I'd ask. Meantime this is great. wish I'd realized I could do this with my older machine because I bought a mirror to etch years ago and instead ended up putting up as a replacement mirror with no etched designs in guest bath redo. I love pine cones and also Puma's or Cougar's or That's right Mountain Lions as they seem to have different names across the states. I grew up calling them Puma's yet today Cougar seems more popular in MT. Lovely creatures and along with Bears and Rams and Mouse I tend to favor those big beautiful big eyed cats and so drew up a design to have etched on my mirror with the pine cones into the corners. Meantime I asked an etching business if they could do it and they would but they closed before I ever got the mirror to them. Now I realize I could make my own stencil using this vinyl and how lovely. I missed your first take 1 but I'm sure I would have figured out what you were doing and teaching just the same. I love you take the time to share this and so happy I found you even if it is 3 years later. UA-cam I hope they never loose their way and keep supporting the people of all kinds who show up to share their knowledge and skills and ideas with all of us. Thank you thank you thank you...hope you enjoy your cup a....coffee or tea or your fave still in your mugs. Lovely design. Thank you for the quick tutorial. I place my templates on Dollar Tree clear cutting mats which comes 2 in a pack. I use the front/back side as well. Was it easy to remove the layers without distorting the templates?
